SENTENCE -
A group of words, which has a complete sense of meaning, is called a sentence. A sentence must contain a verb. A sentence begins with a capital letter and ends with a full stop (.) or question mark (?) or an exclamation mark (!).
Example -
1. Children play in the garden.
(The above group of words is conveying a complete meaning.)
2. Group of words which does not convey a complete meaning like
"Rajan garden walk evening" is not called a sentence.
वाक्य -
शब्दों का एक समूह, जिसमें अर्थ की पूरी समझ होती है, एक वाक्य कहलाता है।
एक वाक्य में एक क्रिया होनी चाहिए।
एक वाक्य एक कैपिटल अक्षर से शुरू होता है और एक पूर्ण विराम (?) या प्रश्न चिह्न (?) या एक विस्मयादिबोधक चिह्न (!) के साथ समाप्त होता है।
उदाहरण -
1. बच्चे बगीचे में खेलते हैं।
(शब्दों का उपरोक्त समूह एक पूर्ण अर्थ बता रहा है।)
2. शब्दों का समूह जो "राजन उद्यान चलना शाम" जैसे पूर्ण अर्थ को व्यक्त नहीं करता
है, उसे वाक्य नहीं कहा जाता है।
